When we initially started the process close to a year and a half ago, we knew we were in for an uphill battle based on how the economy was going, especially housing. Now the house has been sold and we are now able to sleep a lot better.
Your guidance about how to market the house and strategically reduce the price when offers weren't being made on the home was great. You let us know monthly what homes were selling and how much they were selling for. This data made it easy for us to determine how we needed to price the house to sell. We made several adjustments as the economy worsened and home values decreased. We especially liked how involved you were and how you kept us on track by giving us your professional opinion. Your follow up and your professionalism helped my wife and I remain positive about a process that was extremely long and sometimes doubtful.

The first time my wife and I met Ken was 6:00pm on a Saturday evening. We were considering selling our older home and wanted to see what newer homes were available. We called the phone number on Ken's Realtor sign in the yard and was totally shocked when he answered the phone. We figured we would set an appointment with him during the upcoming week. Instead we were pleased when he told us he would be at the house we were interested in five minutes. The first thing we noticed about Ken was how pleasant and professional he was. After talking to several other Realtors we decided that Ken would be best suited to sell our home. Once Ken listed our home I had hundreds of questions for him , and probably called him just as many times. Not once did Ken get frustrated with me and most importantly he always answered the phone. Over the short three months it took Ken to sell our house in a real "SLOW" market I got to know him personally. He is one of the most honest person(s) I have met. He doesn't tell you what you want to hear, he always tells you the truth. I also realized how important his family is to him and how proud he is of his son who is currently serving "OUR COUNTRY" in Iraq. With all this said Ken also spotted a $4000.00 charge the seller of our new home was trying to charge to us when they were responsible for it. After Ken sold our old home and we used him as our agent to buy our new home, he made sure to call me six month later and remind me about filing homestead exemption saving me $25,000. We highly recommend Ken for all of your real estate needs. He not only our Realtor for life but we now consider Ken our friend.

I wanted to take a minute to let you know about my experience with one of your agents.
I started looking for a new home in January of 08 & I really had no idea what I was looking for in a house except that it needed to be 4 bedrooms. My search began with Mr. Ken Potter. I think he has to be the most patient & understanding man I've ever met! I don't like to think of myself as indecisive or wishy washy but I'll bet he would disagree. :) We looked at house after house after house! New ones, old ones, big ones, small ones, pre-foreclosed, foreclosed, bank owned, corporate owned, should be condemned homes & anything & everything in between. I was calling this poor man several times a day, dragging him all over the city at all hours & on weekends but he never wavered. We put in at least 5 offers & pulled a few offers because I was being "influenced" by my 3 daughters at every corner. He was so patient with me & never had a moment of frustration. He sent me lists everyday of new homes that went on the market & of course I needed to see all of them right away. He met my phone calls with a cheerful hello & gave me so much advice at every house. He was spending more time with me than he was with his family but he never put me off or cancelled appointments. After looking at about 10,000 homes, he knew better than I did whether or not I would be interested. I finally settled on the one that I bought & although I'm sure he was ready to retire after the experience with me, he always had a smile & a very friendly disposition. I'm certain he was thrilled to finally find me the house of my dreams if not just to get some rest. I hope I never have to go house hunting again because I don't know that he could survive the 2nd time around.
Complaints come from everywhere but compliments go unspoken all too often & I wanted someone to know what a fantastic agent he is & how much I appreciated the great effort that he put forth for me. If there is such a thing as "Realtor of the Year" he definitely would have my vote. Thank you Ken & I hope your commission check paid for at least some of your gas. :) Sincerely, Debi Behrens

Living in Sweden and wanting to buy a house in Florida could be difficult.

When we wanted to have more interior photos of the house we were interested in - that was easily provided by Ken over the e-mail.
When we, as Swedes, didn't quite understand all the ins and outs of the American way of buying a house - Ken was there 24-7 helping us along with the language and protecting our rights against the selling agent.
When the title proved to be clouded at the closing of the sale, the selling agent blamed all but herself for not finding this out - Ken acted in a very professional way on our behalf and had the problem solved within 24 hours with the selling agent.
When the sale was closed sucessfully we invited Ken and his lovely wife for dinner in our new house and we call them our FRIENDS.
